I was treated so disrespectfully by Sherry, the store operations manager at Ashley Furniture in Murfreesboro!! They are so nice until they take your money, but have very poor customer service skills when it comes to resolving any issues that may arise with an order. I had previously been told I need to be home all day because there is a 3 hour delivery window of when my mattress would arrive. So I made the necessary arrangements to be there and when delivery day came, I was not emailed or contacted in any way about an ETA. The mattress was never delivered. I called the Murfreesboro Ashley Furniture store and the woman I spoke with pointed fingers at me, stating I gave her the wrong address or that I must not have checked my email, neither of which are true. After 5 mins of non-helpful conversation I asked for her name and the name & number of her manager, and I told her I felt like she being rude and not resolving my issue. Instead, she hastily transferred me to a customer service line without providing names or a phone number. So rude! I hung up as soon as I heard the elevator music and called Ashley furniture back, and she picked up again and asked "YES?" in an annoyed tone. I once again asked for her name and the name of her boss. She finally said her name is Sherry and that she IS the manager, then transferred me to a customer service line again without my permission. Unbelievable treatment.After speaking with corporate, I was told there was an issue with the distribution center, which is why my mattress was never delivered. Why I was never contacted in any way prior to the delivery day...who knows. Guess they don't care that one of their customers had to request off work to wait for a mattress that would never come. I spent over two thousand dollars at Ashley, and received the most expensive life lesson I will ever learn. Do NOT ignore online reviews or BBB scores as I did. Ashley Furniture has an F with the BBB for a reason.

Potential furniture buyers beware: The store management of Ashley Furniture in Murfreesboro, TN will not stand behind their product when problems arise; would recommend everyone avoid this store, given that you must place an order for your furniture, pre-pay for it, and hope you get the type of furniture you ordered; when that does not happen, you are stuck with it. This store does not take care of the customer.

We bought a bedroom set from this store. The sales person was helpful but made a mistake on the order ticket. As a result of her error our chest was not delivered. When we called the store the manager said the order we signed only showed the pieces delivered and that we would not receive it even though we PAID for it (watch out when buying a "set" and ALWAYS check your order slip). The sales person admitted the mistake. We told the Manager we didn't want it if we weren't getting out entire set after all this was his employees mistake not ours and he said we could return it with a 60% restocking fee!!!!!! Who in their right mind is going to give a store 60%(almost $2,000.00) to take it back. Overall, this store will take complete advantage of anyone that walks through the door. I have heard others have had problems with their furniture being delivered late... 6 months, to be exact. Pretty stuff, but definitely not worth the risk!!!!!!

I spent over a $1000 in their store on 3/18/07 and it is 5/22/07 and they still have not delivered everything I purchased. It has been one mixup after the other. VERY UNSATISFIED. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.
