If I could give her 100 stars I would! She worked miracles on a prom dress that I had purchased for my daughter at A Special Touch in Murfreesboro. They offered free alterations and nearly ruined this dress. Luckily after searching reviews I found Alterations by Chris....she corrected their mistakes and made my daughters dress beautiful again. She is also very reasonable considering the mess that she was faced with! I would recommend her to everyone and next time I need an alteration in the future...she will definitely be my go to place!

If I could leave a negative stars I would. I brought in a dress to be altered for my sisters wedding, I was a bridesmaid. I told Chris what the dress needed, hemming and to be taken up in the bust. She would not even give me a rough estimate but insisted she had to pin it first to decide how much she was going to charge. After she spent 20 minutes pinning she gave me an ridiculously high price, but after she had completed all that pinning I felt obligated. I tried to haggle the price down and she wouldn't budge. When I returned to pick up the dress two weeks later the quality of the work was very poor. The piping under the bust didn't even line up in the back when it met at the zipper. It was too late to go anywhere else to get it fixed and I could afford a second tailor. I was new to town and didn't know other places to go. I have had things tailored before back home so I know what things should cost to be altered. It cost me more to have my bridesmaid dress tailored than it cost my

Chris did a wonderful job. She shorten 4 pairs of slacks, two jacket sleeves and took in a dress for me. Everything she did fit wonderfully and looked like it was purchased that way. I have recommended her to several friends. She is very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. I plan to go back to her whenever I need any alterations done. Thanks Chris!
