BrawlHouse is a community of driven, goal oriented athletes from youth to senior citizen. Your fellow athletes are there to provide you with the necessary support, friendship and motivation you need. BrawlHouse takes a personal interest in each athlete, regardless of ability we want you to reach your goals in Boxing, Muay Thai -Kickboxing / Cardio-Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Wrestling, BootCamp, Crossfit, HOT Yoga. Sports Specific Function , fitness and much more! ALL AGES! Our programs include: ALL AGES!!! Gerry Cooney is a Boxing Legend and our amazing Boxing Instructor at Brawl House. BrawlHouse Boxing is designed and led by one of the all-time great professional heavy weights, Gerry Cooney. Boxing classes are designed for all skill levels, from novice boxers and amateur fighters looking for an intense workout to professionals looking to hone their skills. Training is focused on classic boxing training techniques including jump ropes, bag work (heavy bags, speed bags), focus pads, reaction and reflex drills, hand speed, footwork, and sparring. He holds a professional MMA record of 20 wins and 5 losses. Vitor is a former Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion and one of the best grapplers to have fought in Mixed Martial Arts. Craig Frost: joins the BrawlHouse wrestling staff with an extensive background as both a competitor and a coach.Craig’s wrestling accomplishments are as follows:7 seasons as head assistant coach for Roselle Park HS 5 state place winners, 2 NHSCA all Americans, 4 region champs Muay Thai, a combat sport that originated in Thailand, is based on stand-up striking techniques. The word “muay” derives from the Sanskrit “mavya,” which means, “to bind together.” Muay Thai is referred to as, “The Art of Eight Limbs,” because it utilizes both knees, both elbows, both shins, and both fists to equip your mind and body with a significantly more comprehensive approach to strategically compete in MMA. Bikram Yoga is the original hot yoga that’s been featured in the press and on television, famous for it’s miraculous healing ability. It is a very specific 90-minute series of 26 yoga postures and breathing exercises taught in 105′ heat. CrossFit is a hybrid mix between functional exercises, gymnastics, high interval circuit training, and traditional Olympic lifts. Classes run an hour in length starting with preparation and warm-up and ending with a high intensity workout running between 20-40 minutes. FLO-SSA training is designed around maximizing speed, strength, and agility (SSA) that is sport-specific, and customized to each participant’s range of motion, athletic ability, and identified needs. FLO-SSA training is geared toward allowing students of all ages to focus on their desired athletic and developmental goals. Key to FLO-SSA training is teaching students the need for a positive mental attitude, teamwork, and respect for all. FLO-SSA workouts combine the highest levels of mental and physical performance, while maintaining a focus on injury-prevention. FLO-SSA training was developed by a recognized expert of youth athletic training
