Behavioral Health Services is a mental health care unit of El Camino Hospital, a nonprofit medical complex that was established in 1956 and is spread over an area of more than 41 acres. El Camino Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a licensed 395-bed facility, as well as employs over 2,300 persons. Behavioral Health Services offers psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention and medication management services. It provides mental health assessment, psychosocial training and behavior management services. The unit also offers the treatment of several health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, mania, low self-esteem and suicidal tendencies. Additionally, it provides a partial hospitalization program that focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy for the development of the coping and functional skills. Behavioral Health Services is located in Mountain View, Calif.
