General Info: Dr. Steichen graduated with honors from Harvard Medical School and completed his internship in general surgery and residency in neurosurgery at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Steichen moved to Charleston in 2003 after practicing as a clinical neurosurgeon in the Upstate of South Carolina. His interest and expertise is in applying individualized state-of-the-art neurosurgical care to advance the well being of patients suffering from spinal and cranial disorders.
