      I always loved eating at the Black Horse Diner, but in January of 2009, they must have gotten a new chef. The food was always wonderful, but on my last visit in January of 2009, what I ordered was unacceptable. It was so bad, I had to send my food back and order something else. I noticed my companion's broiled scallops were burnt. I sure hope they get the old chef back because until then, I will not be eating at the Black Horse Diner anymore. P.S. This used to be the best Diner in South Jersey.........

The current customer base is 65 and older, but they are looking to reach a younger audience. They recently renovated the diner to have a fresher look and appeal to families. The staff and owners have a good rapport with their customers, and repeat business is the backbone of their revenue.
