I went last night to fill my prescriptions for pain medications. These are medications I cannot run out of without becoming seriously sick. The drive-through took forever just to drop them off. The drive-through line was even worse when I returned, so I left and went inside. The pharmacist told me my prescriptions were invalid and could not be filled due to the new law that came into effect September 1, 2011. The RX must have a pale blue or green background with a security feature on the back. After many phone calls to my Dr and my regular pharmacy, not to mention going into withdrawal, guess what?! Both of the prescriptions were exactly as described above, in conformance with the new law, and my Dr. had been using them for over a month. I will NEVER go back!
