I would not recomend buying a home from Affordable Homes. I have found them to be very unethical in their business practices. I paid $500 for an appraisal, but because I chose not to buy their home they feel I am not entitled to a copy of the appraisal, and not entitled to any of my money back. I just feel that this is bad business and will never do business with these people again, nor will anyone I know. Word of mouth is the best way I know to fight this kind of business.
