AUG Thru Thanksgiving 2019 there services suck, we have owned the home since Aug 2019, I paid for services thru the remainder of the year in August.
They came once in August but didn't pick up I watched him pick up every other house I could see but not mine. September the second time they came took some but not everything, so we brought to them 😡, should have to. Thanksgiving we had family up to help finish up pack and celebrate, Now keep in mind the amount of bags and boxes we had couldn't be missed 😡😡 by time we got back to the house it had snowed on top all of this animal's had got into it. When I call them they are nothing more then excuses as to why. I work 8 hrs from my home and have been hauling my trash back to where I stay to get rid of it I shouldn't have to do this their service sucks and all they give is excuses. Someone need to come in and give real services to the good people up here.
We've used Mountain View Waste for six years and have been very pleased with them. On a few occasions our pick up was missed - maybe four times in six years - and when I called they were very pleasant and sent a truck the next day just to get ours. That's pretty impressive!
For seven years I've been stuck with Mountain View Waste do to the lack of competition in my area. Because of the lack of compatition their costumer service is lacking. Once a month or so they "miss" my pickup. Frankly I think they just don't come. I live in bear country and trash left out is trash scattered. Sadly I don't notice if the trash is taken until then. I get up and get my trash out by 6am because I leave for work at 6:30. They say I don't have it out in time or it wasn't at the curb. Well there isn't a curb. There's the creek, the road and my driveway. Sometimes the wind will blow it off the road a little ways into my driveway (I don't usually have a lot of trash) or against the fence that I put up at the legal distance from the road just to keep the trash from rolling into the creek. Today I called and informed them they failed again to pick up my trash and my neighbors trash. I know about hers because it was in the creek along with mine. They didn't call me back after I left a message and even if they did I will still be stuck with the trash tell next Thursday where they may possibly fail to take the trash again and the bear will scatter it again.
They did a great job, but we had to drop them. We were first on their list and could not leave trash out at night because the bears. We also could not get the trash out before 7 o'clock as we were first on their route.
After 20 years of operating businesses of many size and type, I find sincere appreciation for the personality of this company. Other company's provide good service and are respectable, but this company is the best blend of professional business and hometown care that I've experienced. We've now been their customer for over 9 years and though we've been solicited with enticing offers from other vendors, we remain appreciative of Mountain View Waste Systems. Over the course of time, we've not once been let down by their service. As a matter of fact, when the other vendors said 'no', Mountain View Waste saw the need and the opportunity, expanded their operations and now is the primary provider for our area. John--Echo Hills
I've found Mountain View Waste to perform professionally and couteously in all my dealings with them. Other than the cigarette incident just noted, I've heard nothing but good about them, as far as the service they offer. I've always been treated well when I've delt with their office staff. I lowered my rating from 5 to 4 thumbs up only because there's a glitch in there website's only contact number which directs caller to use a "box" according to the brochure ?? or something like that. No access to persons or messages. Called twice more, thinking I'd misdiled---eventually being able to reach a message only option---at the SAME number. Weird. Still, I like the company.
I was passing a Mountain View Waste Systems truck this morning (May 1, 2009 on Hwy. 285 at MM 244) when the driver threw a lit cigarette out of the truck. The fire danger is low today but I am sure that had no influence on his decision to toss the cigarette. If the fire danger was high I am sure he would have still tossed it. If any fires start near roads in the Conifer/Bailey area on a Friday, MVWS will be getting a call from the Forest Service and the state of Colorado. Your drivers have no right to endanger our forests or our homes.
