- Dental CareDental care in pets plays a vital role in their overall health and well-being. On top of causing pain and discomfort, oral disease may also produce infections that can reach the bloodstream and pose a threat to your pet’s liver, heart and other major organs. Fortunately, significant advances in pet dental care allow for efficient and effective prevention, diagnosis and treatment of common dental diseases.
- VaccinationRegular health screenings allow us to be proactive in the prevention, early detection and treatment (long and short-term) of diseases. Additionally, routine vet exams/check-ups provide a healthy baseline for comparison should your pet become sick. They also include vaccinations, which will be based on the individual lifestyle of your pet. We typically recommend annual blood testing, depending on your pet’s species, breed and age.
- Veterinary OphthalmologyEye diseases such as corneal ulcers, meibomian gland adenomas, conjunctivitis, glaucoma, cataracts, keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) or dry eye
- Behavioral CounselingThe human-animal bond plays a vital role in the relationship between you and your pet. It begins forming the moment you introduce a pet into your home, heart and life. It is forged through each interaction you share with them. Nothing damages this bond more than behavior issues, which leave owners feeling frustrated and angry. We believe that appropriate socialization and obedience training is vital to building a bond with your dog. A trainer can help prevent behavior problems before they even start.

- Comprehensive ExaminationPhysical exam: the first step is a thorough physical exam—one of the most helpful measures in helping identify emerging diseases.
- Parasites Treatment and ControlManufacturers of medications do not sell to online pharmacies or many retail stores. This means they are not certain of how the medications available there are obtained, stored, if they are authentic, if they are expired, etc. The manufacturers will stand behind their products if purchased through a veterinary clinic, but not if obtained elsewhere. The guarantee with some medications, such as flea and tick products or heartworm and intestinal parasite preventatives, is well worth your peace of mind.

- Exotic Animal VetAnimals such as ferrets, rabbits and rodents (i.e., chinchillas, mice, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils) continue growing in popularity as pets. Because they have shorter life expectancies than dogs and cats, it is even more important that they receive veterinary health screenings at least once a year.
