North Liberty School is a separate public school that provides learning opportunities for special needs students in kindergarten through grade 12. It administers a vocational transitional program for the individual needs of students. The school offers programs in life skills and adaptive physical education, assistive technology, music, art, media, computers and academics. North Liberty School also provides speech, physical, occupational, recreational, dramatic play and pet therapy services. It organizes various Girl Scout troops. The school operates a library media center that offers a range of books and reference materials, as well as online resources. It is operated by Burke County Public Schools, which maintains several elementary, middle and high schools. North Liberty School is located in Morganton, N.C.
