Its sports activities include softball, racquetball and volleyball. The organization s camps feature activities related to science, music and art. It operates more than 10 pools and offers swimming lessons for over 3,000 children every year. The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is a part of the Young Men's Christian Association, which was founded in 1844.
