She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Winona State University. Dr. Jacobsen then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worceseter, MA. Lobster, clam chowder and Fenway Park couldn’t keep her in New England and she soon returned to practice in Minnesota.
