Provided by YP.comDr. Taylor has now closed his Montgomery Office, which was no surprise to me.
Dr. Taylor took over the patients of Dr. M. Highley when Dr. Highley retired.
Dr. Taylor maintained offices in Selma, Prattville, and Montgomery, with Nurse Practitioners handling the clients. The three years I was a client there, never once did I see Dr. Taylor, but rather Nurse Practitioners.
At first it wasn't too bad, but as time progressed, every time I went in to get my prescriptions filled, there would be a new Practitioner. Knew then something was wrong, but also realized that Dr. Taylor must have run himself ragged trying to maintain three offices.
While the office staff pretty well remained stable, though there were at least three changes there if not more, it was also the office staff that was the weakest link to this operation.
There is no telling how much money or how many clients/patients Dr. Taylor lost because of an inept Office Staff.
It's a real shame that Dr. Taylor's reputation was marred in the City of Montgomery, because had the beginning point of the operation -- receptionist and general staff members -- been more competent and accommodating, perhaps things would have been different.
Plus, trying to maintain three offices in three different cities has to be physically taxing, especially with time.
I was notified by mail rather abruptly that Dr. Taylor had closed his Montgomery Office, but he offered 30 day prescriptions for those in need until another doctor could be found.
I did call his Selma Office, talked to a wonderful business-like woman who sent my records via Priority Mail. Those records were received within two days of the initial call.
I did tell the woman I talked to in his Selma Office to please send me a bill should I owe him any monies as I was in the transitional period of having Medicare as my Primary Provider on my previous visit, and BlueCross was the office that had changed my retirement status to employed. Figured it was some sort of computer glitch, but had it not been for my accidentally seeing that the office bill would go to BlueCross rather than Medicare, this bureaucratic error would have taken more than the six weeks that was needed to get it corrected, because once realized, any medical treatment besides dental was held to a standstill.
Though this review is mute, I do hope that one day, Dr. Taylor will see it so that he may understand why his patients began to go other places.
I believe it to be an unfortunate ordeal for all involved, and I pray to God that I never, ever in my lifetime have to deal with that Office Staff in Montgomery again.
There is nothing more frustrating that trying to deal with arrogant, ignorant office workers who are the first step to seeing any doctor, because they will refuse to listen and have no qualms whatsoever about dismissing a patient.
I only wish I had gone to another doctor prior to the Medicare becoming effective, because trying to find a doctor today as a New Patient WITH Medicare -- one has a better chance of winning the Lottery.

Provided by YPmobileI'm a patient of dr. Bruce Taylor and I've been waiting on referrals to other dr.s for weeks now. Every time I call , they either don't answer or they tell me they are working on referrals and call back at lunch. I need a dr that will listen to me and take care of my problems. Not ignore their patients

Provided by YP.comRun away as fast as you can. Nothing but confusion. This business is opewn purely for profit with a total disregard for patients needs. Every visit I find very dissatisfied patients in the waiting room. Doctor afraid to write proper presp[ricptions based on past experiences with other patients. Doctor writes according to what his authorized payment agencies want him instead of medxicxal conditions as required or needed. Never been to a doctors office where an 8:am appointment is usually seen at 11:30 ands office isa full ofr confusion!!Don't be really sick and go to Taylor Internal Medicine!

Provided by YPmobileI thought my OBGYN refered me to one of the best doctors. Well I found out they suck. I only went one time because I was trying to get help. I have been very sick for mths. I never seen a dr, I only seen the nurse practioner. She listened to me so I thought that things were going to be good. I called two weeks later because I gotten sicker, the always tell me that they would give me a call back but never do. I was so pissed because they never called me back. I called every other day and they did'nt do anything. So I told them that I will nevet go back to them. They wont get my money..The girl with Lupus

Provided by YP.comI have nothing but problems lately with this office and the staff.....When I first started going here Dr. Brown (PA) was in the office and it was great.....Now she left the office and it has went down hill from there....I am unhappy and have requested several times to see Dr. Taylor and he never seems to have any appointments and then when they finally do find me an appointment with him they seem to loose the appointment and when I show up for it they will tell me I do not have one sheduled .....or the automated system will call me to remind me of an appointment but it has the wrong day and when I call to confirm when the appointment actually is they say oh you do not have an appointment would you like me to schedule one....I am frustrated and going to find me a new doctor

Provided by YP.comDr. Bruce Taylor's practice the type reminds you of when doctors actually took time with and cared aboutr their patients. Dr. Taylor takes time to listen then he discuss the issues with you, giving you all options and make sure you understand everything from the diagnosis to the plan of treatment. Excellent communication skills and the office staff is great and makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. My previous doctor demeanor was just like Dr. Taylor and when he retired I thought I'd never find someone that would be able to take his place but I thank the Lord for sending me Dr. Taylor. Give him a try, I promise you will be more than satisfied.
