Neurosurgery at the Neurosurgery Institute is located at Baptist Medical Center South.  Different groups of professionals work together to provide the best care for our patients.  These groups include the Neuroscience Imaging Center, Baptist Health Neurosurgery Clinic, Baptist Health Advanced Physical Therapy, and the Center for Pain of Montgomery. These entities seamlessly work to coordinate your care and challenge each other to ensure you receive the best diagnosis and treatment possible.

Our goal is to provide quality surgical & non-surgical care, getting each patient back to a healthy and active lifestyle as soon as possible. With Baptist Health Neurosurgery Clinic, you have the unique option of being referred directly to one of our Neurosurgeons for surgical consultation or, if preferred, referral to our Physiatrist for conservative management of neurosurgical disorders. In most instances, patients will not need immediate surgery. Dr. Pirofsky’s expertise in non-surgical management of spine disorders may alleviate the need for neurosurgical intervention.

We are located within the Neuroscience Institute at Baptist Medical Center South, which encompasses several specialties pivotal to the diagnosis and treatment of neurologic disorders. These include Neurosurgery, Pain Management, Physical Medicine, Physical Therapy, and state of the art diagnostics with MRI and CT. This allows patients access to comprehensive care in one central location.
