The Montebello Parks & Recreation Division provides recreational services for various age groups. It offers aquatics program include swimming lesson for children throughout the summer months. The Montebello Parks & Recreation Division s facilities include the George Hensel Aquatics Center and Chet Holifield Park pool. It offers guitar, piano, boot camp, karate, ballet, pre-ballet, folkloric, jazz and salsa dance, tai chi and senior heart and sole classes. The division plans and coordinates special events and days including 4th of July Spectacular, Veteran's Day Program, Memorial Day Program, Red Ribbon Week, Summer Youth Employment Golf Tournament, Battle of the Bands and Summer Concerts. The Montebello Parks & Recreation Division is a part of the Department of Municipal Services, which is governed by the City of Montebello in California.
