I am very happy with My experience with Northwest. They have been nothing but good to me. I have had a lot of problems with credit in the past and paying my bills when I was younger and my student loans yet they still work with me and have given me a loan on a SUV, and I currently have 2 loans for harley-davidsons. Yes the interest rate is very high but they work with me and the payments are low and only three years. As long as you make your payments, it'll work out great!

I got a loan in 2012 & payed it off extremely fast. Had a great relationship with the guy named Rick who retired. Called there today to get a loan. My interest rate is rediculous & interest was $277 per month! Absolutely mind boggling! There's clearly a reason they have nothing but horrible reviews!

I have taken out 3 loans with this company including a car loan. I have never had a problem because i dont fall behind on my payments, except once, i forgot to send the check in. Yes, they did leave a message or two on my phone, but nothing nasty, just asked me to call. The message made me realize i forgot to pay and i sent the check in and no problem. I dealt with 2 locations over the years, and neither manager would get an invite to dinner from me, but if you pay, they do not bother you ever...so of course the complaints are all coming from people who get behind on their bills. Try being a week or two late for your cable bill. They will shut you off. Thats how business works.

They really dont even deserve ...

They really dont even deserve a one star in my opinion. I took out a small 500 dollar loan -- which came with an exhorbitant 150 dollar finance fee. Well I have paid off the principle amount of 500, but I have been getting behind on the remainder the last 2-3 months due to business slow down. I have been trying to find alternatives but its hard being part-time self employed and single and on disability.

They are terrible. They Harrass like you wouldnt believe. My payments are 50 dollars a month, and mind you I only owe 150. Seems to me their wasting more money in gas and paper and phone calls with their ongoing harrassements. What upsets me MOST is when they come to your door to harrass you for payment. THAT is illegal from what I understand. I have reported them to the Attorney General's office as well as to the Better Business Bureau. BTW they apparently have other complaints agasinst them with the BBB so file your complaints against them.

I'm tired of them coming to my home. I also talked to an attorney and he said if he comes to my home to call the police department. Just because I have a debt doesnt mean I dont have rights.

Very Poor Service

I was in the market for a "new" used car when my old car had broken down. I told them that I could not afford to pay more than $250 a month and they said that they could work with that and I then bought my new 2007 Chevy. A month later I found out that my monthly payments were going to be $325. I called them and spoke to them about it and they claimed that they never agreed to $250 and that if I did not pay within a few days that my car would be repossessed. Mind you this was my first bill ever from them. And in order to get my money they not only called, they showed up at my apartment and spoke with my landlord (i was later evicted for poor payment history although I had never missed a rent payment) and also showed up at my work and spoke with my boss there (for which I got suspended because I am in EMS and having personal issues interfer with my job is against our code of conduct.)

Now down the road nearly a year later they again are causing problems. According to them I am 30 days past due on my account and if I do not pay $148 by Friday (day after thanksgiving) they would repossess my car. I told them that I was out of town and would not be able to do that. They stated then that they have to have the money first thing Monday morning. I asked them to explain to me how I could be 30 days late when I had never missed a payment and they refused to explain they just told me that if I did not pay then my car would be no longer mine. I tried to explain to them that I could not come up with that money in three days unless I used my rent money and they told me that I needed to use my rent money because they would not wait until the next Friday for the money. Now I am stuck in a hard spot because I have to use my rent to pay for my car that I am not late on and that they refuse to provide proof that I am 30 days late. And if I missed a month then why is the amount not my monthly payment? Why is it such a random odd amount, not even half of my payment.

I am currently looking to refinance because the intrest rates are outrageous (mine is 27% despite the fact that when I agreed to get the loan it was only 15%) and the service there is really poor and they refuse to provide proof that you are late they only demand money and threaten repossession if you do not do exactly what they say when they say it.

Stay away no matter what they offer you because all they do is lie to get more money.

Poor customer service, rude, dishonest

My husband and I have a loan through this company. It was actually bought out by them from another company but NW now holds it. We are making payments but sent in a payment about 7 days late (they allow a grace period of 12 days before late fees are assessed). At 6 days late, they were calling my husband work looking for him (instead of calling the house) and stated that we had not made any payments and that the loan was in default (this is a lie). My husband advised the man to call the house not work and speak to me. I called back a "gentleman" named Bob and again asked him not to call my husband at work as a first resort. I stated that this is not very customer friendly and he didn't care. Bob stated that he does business with my husbands job all the time and will call there for him if he chooses. NW is indifferent about causing thier customers problems at work. Also they seem not to be bothered with lying in order to get their payments. Now please remember, my husband and I are making payments and were only about 6 days late (half way though the grace period) when they began the lies and calls to my husband's job.

My dealings with this company are that they are rude and dishonest.

If you are a company thinking about referring customers to this company, please remember that NW's customer service will be reflected onto your company since you are using them to help customers get financing.

If you are just a customer considering using NW for a loan, please go elsewhere.
