- Sleep DisordersThe Monongahela Valley Hospital Sleep Laboratory is located on the 3rd. floor of the Sweeney-Melenyzer Pavilion. The Sleep Laboratory offers a very comfortable, discrete atmosphere featuring a private bedroom and bath setting. The Lab has been established to aid in diagnosing breathing-related sleep disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea. The Sleep Lab is operated under the direction of a physician who is board-certified in sleep medicine, and staffed by registered respiratory therapists who are specially trained in polysomnographic technology (the study of sleep disorders).
