0I am 87 had 3 heart attacks and cancer survivor,I had to wit a week for a repairman,in the mean time My dtr took me to emerg room,dehydration and diaherra,the repairman was here 20 min put some freeon in and left,I had the AC on for 2hrs and it never got lower than 78 degrees, I called again and repairman was scheduled on May 31st,My Dtr made some complaints and the finally called and scheduled for 16th repairman came and couldn't fix the problem,He told me he talked to his boss and they scheduled me for June 5th,I told him that was crazy I would be back in the hospital,He said they will try to do better. I received a call from a lady and she said my apt will be on May 29 in AM. I still dont understand what is wrong with my AC I have been a sear custumor for over 60 years and have carried the protection for almost 40 yeards.Mostly all the repairmen are great I never had a problem with one of them,its malways with the people on the phones. Thank You
The repair man was wonderful very kind and actually felt awful to charge us $99 to come and fix the leaking water filter! All he had to do was apply some silicone to the "O" rings and it stopped leaking. Maybe if Sears put this on the troubleshooting page we would have been able to do this ourselves and not had paid $99!!! Extremely disappointed with Sears and will never buy from them again since I wasn't able to find any technician to help us since Sears hides their repair information on their Kenmore refrigerators!
Sears has no doubt gone to the head of the list of worse companies in America. I would urge anyone considering a Sears home warranty to "Stop", don't do it under any circumstances. They do not honor their warranties, and will do anything in their power to deny the repair service which you are paying for. Don't do it, I can't reiterate this enough.
