I am a local business owner and have dealt with southeast national bank for over 15 years but recently I discovered that is quickly forgotten by the bank who has handled millions upon millions of dollars of our money. I trusted them without a doubt until me and my family were stranded without fuel, food or lodging. After sleeping in our vehicle next to the gas station we were able to have one of our employees drive about 300 miles each way all the way to St Louis, MO from Moline, IL home of southeast national bank to deliver us cash from the "Thank God" easily accessible petit cash fund so we could get home. Upon ending our family getaway that resulted in sad kids who only drove by sixflags but not going we discovered what happened. Customer checks bounced from the previous weeks deposit so the bank hotcarded our accounts. why did they do this? The rep said "we are not taking a chance, it looked like you could be committing fraud and it was late in the day, I didn't have time to call"
