The Moline Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency services for the city of Moline, Ill. Its central station has an apparatus area that houses shift command vehicles, engines, ambulances, rescue boats and equipment trailers. The department conducts home fire safety inspections and safety tips regarding fire prevention. The Moline Fire Department operates a community emergency response team that provides training sessions in disaster preparedness, fire safety, first aid, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster psychology and terrorism. Located in Moline, Ill., the department also offers fire alarm system permits.
