Hands on Learning Preschool is designed to foster your child's imagination while encouraging them to explore the world around them. We are designed for ages 3-5 and focus on problem solving, decision making and self-help, while promoting interpersonal communication. We also offer non-contracted care including: after_school, overnight, weekends and academic tutoring.

From the beginning Miss Kathina was not warm nor welcoming. Everyday I arrived to pick up my child she was screaming at another child to do as she asked. One specific girl she always pulled to the side and spoke down to her to listen and do as asked before. Obviously the disciplinary action wasn't working and she neglected to try a more positive approach with the child. Miss Kathina would often leave the children unattended outside or inside to speak with adults. My largest issue with this school was my child did not learn ANYTHING in the year she was in this preschool. My child had been in other childcares and brought home wonderful, constructive artwork showing me what they learned. In this school they brought home nothing but paint brush marks on white paper. The one constructive thing my child did bring home was put together and executed by the teacher. I specifically gave a list of things I wanted my child to work on in the year. Near the end of the school year I reminded the teachers and they told me it would be practiced. Never happened. I'm an easy person to please, and I have never been so disappointed in where my money went, that was suppose to be for my child's education.
This is more than just a preschool it is a wonderful nurturing and loving place. Miss Kathina has a special talent for teaching and nurturing children. I was convinced my little one was slightly autistic but all the flags that arose dissipated after only one week with Miss Kathina. She even had the patience to sit down with me for over an hour to discuss all concerns i had with my little one and teach me many techniques on how to help my child grow and learn. My moody, tantrum throwing two year old is now a well behaved little angel. Don't let her reasonable prices fool you, I would recommended this preschool to anyone.

I recommend this Preschool to all who's interested in their child begging in learning. The provider is really experienced and takes time to teach the children with understanding and a fun experience. My child loves to go their every morning.

My daughter has been going here for a few months now. She is counting and recognizing letters and their sounds. It is amazing how fast she is learning! Hands On Learning Preschool is truly a special place.
