      Our mission at Allen Memorial Home is to continue the healing ministry of Christ by enhancing quality of life and providing a caring and compassionate community for residents, family, and staff. Since our start with the Daughters of Charity in 1911 as Alabama Maternity and Infant Home, to our current level of services for senior adults, Allen Memorial Home has remained flexible in its desire to meet the needs of the Mobile, Alabama, community.The services provided by Allen Memorial Home include nursing care, restorative therapies, social services, recreational programs, and spiritual care in a caring, home environment. Every member of our staff adheres to values of compassion, kindness and loving care ; dignity and respect, for self, others, and all life ; to Eden principles, to provide a home and enriching environment ; hospitality, for a welcoming attitude, and teamwork at all levels.
