This is a great unknown resource. I went to clinic for my womanly exam. Waited a bit longer than expected for my appointment HOWEVER could see why. The nurse practitioner is very good at explaining everything. I didn't feel like a number but a patient so it was worth the wait.

My daughter was sick and we were unable to get into our regular Doctor's office. I did not know the Health Department clinic offered primary care but was delighted they did. Then I was even more delighted to find out the services were offered on a sliding scale. It was quite affordable and i shall return again.

I recently visited the clinic at the Health Department and was happy to find out my laboratory tests costs me half the price originally quoted by the hospital. I would not have known this if it wasn't for the friendly staff. I had only visited to recieve mandatory immunizations.
