      Since 2000, Dr. Kevin Gunnerson has had the pleasure of serving the community of Moberly, Missouri, helping ensure that his patients receive the best care for their visual health. Dr. Gunnerson practices comprehensive eye care, from routine eye exams to diagnosis, management, and treatment of chronic and acute diseases of the visual system. From degenerative conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration, to problems with dry eyes or red eye, Dr. Gunnerson’s scope of services offers his patients a wide range of treatment options, as well as preventive care. As part of his standard of care, Dr. Gunnerson is equipped with the latest technology, including a retinal camera and wavefront refraction phoropter. Dr. Gunnerson started his medical journey at the University of Nebraska in Kearney, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 1992. He went on to graduate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Elkins Park with his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1997. After earning his degrees, Dr. Gunnerson went on to accumulate considerable experience in his specialty, serving in the United States Army as an optometrist. Dr. Gunnerson spent over 28 years helping American military personnel across the world with vision problems, including a deployment to Iraq. Because of his many years spent in service to the United States, Dr. Gunnerson enjoys working with veterans of all services, in addition to his patients in the Moberly community. Dr. Gunnerson is fully licensed by the state of Missouri, and he’s a member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Gunnerson is a personable doctor and enjoys getting to know his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys flying, hunting, or fishing!
