Canyonlands National Park is open year-round and offers a range of cultural and recreational opportunities. Its outdoor activities include hiking, biking, boating, auto touring, backpacking, camping, rock climbing, guided trips, horseback riding, ranger-led programs and stargazing. The park s Canyon Country Outdoor Education program is a cooperative venture between the National Park Service, local school districts and nonprofit organizations in southeast Utah. Canyonlands National Park is located in Moab, Utah, and is a part of the National Park Service, which is a network of more than 400 natural, cultural and recreational sites throughout the United States. It is a bureau within the Department of the Interior.
