John Wayne himself stayed at this motel when he was filming movies in the area. That fact alone rates the four stars, but the hotel is excellent on it's own. The rooms are clean and well decorated and ofcourse decorated southwestern style. The motel had just changed management when I stayed in it last so the service was still evolving. It could rate higher if the staff improves service.
