The Bullet Hole is a terrific place to shoot and buy new firearms. It's been around for many years and I believe it's because of the staff, really great people!

It is difficult to believe any of the negative reports, and easy to believe the positive, female-friendly report. Heck, I've let quite a few new shooters into my stall to shoot a variety of my guns just to be friendly. Weeknights are less busy,and is my suggestion for new shooters and first timers.

In a business that is largely dominated by men, I find many places that treat women with a condescension reminiscent of a pre-suffrage era. Being a business owner myself, I am acutely aware of this pre-conceived notion that women are irrelevant and uneducated, not teachable in this manly arena of guns and ammo. The Bullet Hole is the exact opposite of that. I have never had a bad experience, never been treated with disdain and contempt as many of their competitors (including Parma Woods) have done. They have gone out of their way to help me with little or no advantage to themselves financially. I send every woman I know there, with confidence they'll be treated fairly and kindly.

I read all the negative reviews and when I went there I was ready for someone rude or not helpful....it wasnt busy when I went in and I was helped immediatly. I signed up for a membership and the guy was very helpful, he wasnt rude at all, he really went out of his way to make me feel welcome I was very happy with how I was treated. I guess the range was a little outdated, but its a gun range not a kitchen, it had everything needed, a bench, chairs, the target holder was manual but so what, beats walking to put your target out, and you dont have to stop every 5 minutes to change targets. Yeah it was a little pricey. I bought my gun from cabelas. Overall I was satisfied with the visit and I'll go back.

The staff at this establishment are the very rudest, most arrogant people around. I purchased two gift certificates for my father as a Christmas gift and if I would have known how rude and disrespectful they were going to treat him on his 1st trip there I would have never spent my money here. I guess they can treat people like dirt when there isn't really any competition around. Won't spend anymore of my money here!!!!

Great selection but prices are very high. Neat location and setup so I go to see what's new every once in a while. I'm always disapointed with staff that have a chip on their shoulder and provide poor service. If you walk in with cash hanging out of your pocket ready to buy the're nice but if your window shopping they treat you like an annoyance. Too bad they're one of the only indoor ranges in KC.
