Richard Quitmeyer is the principal owner of Yellow River Rare Coin Inc. located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From the early days back in the 50's when he was given his first Silver Dollar as a birthday gift; the love of a childhood hobby grew into a full time coin business. Today, he travels all across the country and in 2005 alone, attended and set up at over 30 national and local coin shows. This gives him the opportunity not only to locate a really tough coin on your want list, but to liquidate collections and get the highest prices possible from dealers that specialize in specific areas of the market. The primary focus of Yellow River is Dated Gold and Early Type coins for the collector and investor, but anything in Coins or Currency that is Key Date or has Eye Appeal is fair game. We try very hard to have a full inventory from inexpensive Proof Sets for the young collector to Investment quality coins for the individual looking to diversify a portfolio into hard assets and preserve wealth in today's fast and changing world.
