Evergreen billed me $180 for repairs to a backflow pipe damaged by a freeze after being winterized by Evergreen in 2009. The day after winterization I found a pipe emitting a spray of water and immediately contacted Evergreen to provide a description of the pipe, including serial number. I was assured the pipe was NOT part of the system. The pipe I called about that day WAS the pipe listed on their bill! According to THEIR technician who turned the system on, the freeze had been THEIR mistake: water was left in or allowed to reenter the backflow pipe after the system was winterized by the previous technician. When asked why we were told the pipe was not "part of the system" the owner of Evergreen says "no one should have said that." When asked why the technician told us the freeze was the fault of a technician's oversight, he says "he shouldn't have said that." So, in other words, his employees should have been better LIARS. This has been an unbelievable experience and almost comical.
