If I could I would do no stars at all! Ever since day of move in with this company I had nothing but issues and now I got maybe a quarter of my deposit back and I cleaned the $hit out of that place, I should have only been charged for the carpets being cleaned and to top it off they charged me for more rent days when I gave them well over a 30 day notice. Horrible renting company and very rude!!! I got calls consistently to show my place all the time and this is the deposit I get back!

I agree with A.H. 100%. The service is bad. I called, and my neighbor called for me several times regarding mice in the house, and it took 2 1/2 weeks, before an exterminator came to this house, and that's another story. He told me there's no way they can come in, after he patched a small hole under the kitchen sink. Well, a few days later, another mouse was caught, called again they send the same person out, tells me the same thing everything is sealed they can't come in from the vents., it might have been trapped inside. A few short hours after he left, while I was sitting at the counter, having lunch, I noticed movement from the corner of my eye, and it was a snake sticking its head out of the same vent I was told earlier nothing can get through. Called, in a state of panick,at 3:45p., to tell them about the snake, I was told by Lisa, that she will tell Monika to call me. While keeping my eye on the vent every time it stuck its head out I would bang on the counter, and it went back in. I called,again at 4:30 pm, really in a state-of-panick because in a-blink-of-an-eye it got out and slitered into the family room. I was told they were busy, and was put through to Monika's voice mail, and as of today, I still haven't heard from anyone. Six mice, and a snake in three weeks. Yes, the snake came thru the vent into the house, and I had to call my good neighbor to come and get it for me, like he did the six mice. While on hold, listening to what a good company, and family orientated they are, and good service, etc., etc well, sorry, I don't agree.

I wish I could give no stars. This is a horrible rental management company. We moved to this area last year and there were not many rental options that allowed pets, so the choices were few and far between. We rented a place with M. Scott. Horrible communication, Kelly and Monika Benson were nothing but lairs, rude and very unprofessional. We were gypped on the remainder of our deposit and will never recommend or use them again. If you don't want to waist your money and time don't use them. Wish we had read reviews before renting because what we see on Yelp is EXACTLY what they did to us. No repairs, unnecessary deposit charges and not pleasant. Too bad.

I would like to give an A+ to the rental management team at M. Scott Properties. In 2006, I contracted them to rent and manage the rental of my property in the Sunridge area of Minden. Since then, they have done a perfect job of monitoring the state of my property, of becoming a convenient means of communication between my tenants and me, of taking care of recurring bill payments, inspecting and cleaning the property after a tenant left, and advertising and leasing the property in the shortest possible time afterwards. Their monthly statements have been comprehensive and detailed, and their annual summary reports have been clear and ready to be used for tax preparation. My satisfaction of M. Scott Properties is complete and I give everyone my recommendation of this team without any reservation.
