I bo't Electrolux bags through the mail from Electrolux. I was shorted the amount of bags I was suppose to receive. Electrolux refused to give me what I had ordered. I called up this store (Hoover Sales and Service) and they mailed me extra bags at no charge even tho I had not originally bo't them from them.

I was cruising this site looking for some store that might buy our old "Rainbow" brand vacuum cleaner and came across a negative review for this Hoover store on National Avenue. Thus I'm taking a moment to share my positive experiences. We bought a Turbo Wind Tunnel upright about four years ago from this place. No problems (no service needed). They initially helped us change the belts on two separate occasions (showing us hints on how to get the tight fighting belts on more easily) without charge. They recently repaired our Bissell carpet cleaner without delay -- got it back sparkling clean, too. We just bought our college age daughter one of their lower end uprights for approx $70 and it works powerfully -- which was great. They could have talked us into spending more, perhaps, but led us to exactly what was needed. My neighbor bought her Hoover from them without knowing our connection. Both of us have not had any problems. Would recommend this Hoover store without hesitation.
I brought my Hoover carpet cleaner in and the technician examined it, turned it on, told me what the problem was and said it would be done in 2 days and the fee would be $65.00. One week went by and I still had heard nothing. I stopped in and they told me first, that they had not yet look at it and then when they realized I was pretty agitated they "relooked" at the notes and "realized" that the part was on order and it would be ready in a week. Today they called to tell me it was ready to be picked up and "surprise" they needed an "additional part" that they originally hadn't notice (twice) and it will cost an additional $24.00. What a joke- a 1 year old cleaner that is suppose to be "the best"!! Poor service and over charged!! How many professional technicians does it take to make an accurate assessment?? Then, how many does it take to fix the problem?? Never take equpment here and really reconsider the "hoover" name brand.
