Dirty Dining Alert !!! On the Milwaukee news December 2012. And 3 pages of Health code Violations in the kitchen. That says it all about this place......

I agree with some of the comments made in that this place could really be awesome. I would rate atmosphere and food a 4 at least but can not because of the service.The food was really pretty good but our female server once was snobby. Another time we went for crab legs which were absolutely delicious and this time we brought our small child who's well behaved a different female server was very annoyed that she had to bring extra napkins. My little one was a tiny baby who everyone else says is adorable and she served drinks and food over her head like the baby wasn't even there. I would go back but I am going to give it some time first.

The Bar wrecks the rest of the Place, Food is food but the horseplay at the bar ,and it is not the customers . This is not high school people you are grown adults , you need to act like it. You are there to work not laugh and joke with each other while the customers suffer. There is way to much socializing here at night between staff members. That is from a lack of management. We will not be back.............

Our server was drunk , I could not believe this, plus there was no manager on site so I went to the bartender to ask for another server and she was drunk too ! It was 8:30 pm on a Wed ! We finaly got another server and our food but she had a terrible attitude and acted like she did not want to be there. We WONT be back......................

Yes, This place was so nice years ago when the old owner Burt had it , It was alot of fun. It has change for the worse so bad that my friends and family who work across the street at the airport will not go there . This place was a gold mine and could be again but your right they dont care , they want to drink for free while they make a little tip money and talk to there co workers about what they are going to do together on there days off.

We will never go here again.We will also tell our friends not to go here . The Service is extremly bad and the staff is rude. In todays economy money is hard to make, so I would advise not spending it here at amelia's in Milwaukee.

Wow ! I had the same experience at Amelias OMG it was terrible , I mean I know nobody likes to go to work but are people really that angry ? If you work in the service industry you should stay home if you are angry that day. There was a server who was standing at the bar saying Lord give me the strengh not to slap a customer today. She dids this in front of customers , that was it we left immediatly !
