Mariner Middle School is a part of the Cape Henlopen School District. The school s core curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. It also offers classes in technology, computers, career planning, research design, and health and physical education. Mariner Middle School s curriculum additionally includes band, music, chorus and art. The school supports several sports activities, such as football, field hockey, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, wrestling, and track and field. Its guidance department organizes individual and group counseling sessions. Mariner Middle School also provides after-school tutoring programs for students in grades six through eight.
