Heatherwood Middle School offers educational and athletic programs to students in grades seven and eight. The school offers classes in English, language arts, foreign languages, health and physical education, mathematics, science and social studies. In addition, Heatherwood Middle School provides various honors courses. The school has a parent-teacher organization that organizes several enrichment assemblies. Heatherwood Middle School is a part of Everett Public Schools, which operates several other elementary, middle and high schools. Heatherwood Middle School has a school council that serves as an advisory group to provide advice, assistance and recommendations on matters relating to student achievements and school improvements.
