I recently visited a resident who is a family friend. She just passed last night at Milford Hospital where I took care of her. I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant since 1985. I have cared for hundreds of patients with compromised skin conditions. So when I heard that I was the cause of my elderly friends skin tears, I nearly cried. I brought my 4 month old puppy to visit her and the staff told family members that I let the puppy crawl all over this frail little woman that I love like my Mother. She used to dog sit my yellow lab. Rex and she was so happy when I brought our new puppy to visit. Your staff should not spread lies like that. My feelings have been hurt deeply. I would never let my puppy hurt her. She had skin tears before I started bringing my puppy there, so who was responsible for them.

My mother was a patient at Blaire House of Milford for a while, after a stroke, and cancer diagnosis. I have to say these people treated her and our family with nothing but respect and true caring. They were even there to help us ( the family) through the difficult emotional time we found ourselves in. They really know what they are doing and they do it with LOVE!!!!

This place is disgraceful. The bathrooms are dirty and unsanitary. My grandmother was dumped on the bed her first day, was introduced to noone, not told where she could put her things, not shown around etc. Each day my family visits and no staff member has been by to check on her or the other patients. This place is a dumping ground where the staff does not care about the diginity of the elderly. Avoid it at all costs.
