These guys are now the LACK of service guys, they want to sell a bunch of new parts regardless of what you need. AVOID THEM. Ive been at every muffler man in the area, saginaw , baycity, midland and caro, Caro is the only place I would ever consider returning to and even that is shaky unless you can stand there and determine for yourself what needs to be done.

My car was having a problem with stalling while I was driving so I brought it to Muffler Man to be looked at. I worked with an employee named Tim who figured out the problem right away, explained what all would to be done and fixed it fast.

The staff are knowledgeable and work fast. The manager is personable and honest. They saved me a lot of money. The replaced a muffler in less than 20 minutes.
I've done my research and this Muffler Man is honest.
I personally didn't see them smoking in the shop.

The people that work there are very friendly and willing to work with you to find the fix you need within your budget. Fast and experienced and they dont mind if you see what needs to be repaired!

The flex pipes on my car failed, so I went to Muffler Man in Midland, MI. They replaced them with a smaller diameter pipe because they didn't have the correct size in stock. I didn't have a problem with that. Within 6 months, some of their welds failed, and they touched it up with no problem. About a year after my first visit when I had the parts replaced, the driver side flex pipe has failed leaving me with a terrible exhaust leak. I went back to Muffler Man and they refused to warranty their parts because I do not have my copy of the receipt. I took for granted that they would have a copy stored, and unless I can come up with the exact date and dollar amount, they will not bother their "bookkeeper" to find the transaction on their end.Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I got great fast service thru them. They did the work for less than most places! Any problem that i did have, they back their work 100%, and they have great management.

I would not leave a car there without staying with it while the guy is working on it. The work that I had done, was claimed to have five flat rate hours associated with that work, the mech reduced that to four flat rate hours, I looked it up on the motors flat rate manual today, the time spent should have been no more than 2.8 hours. The vehicle seems to work correctly now , but I was overcharged by abour one hundred dollars. Also, be sure to tell them to save your parts before, I forgot to and they couldnt find some of them in their mess.

I was recommended to go here by a friend that knows the manager, I bought my own mufflers and they installed them.. they welded a hanger on an angle and it broke off.. would not fix their crap work and also charged $100 more than the estimate. would not recommend this guys shop.

They lie to get you in there, waste your time and double their estimate. They also smoke in and around your vehicle.
