      Been going here for almost 20 years and have seen a decline in services. Most recently spent a Valentine's dinner with my new Fiance and was dissappointed. Food quality was terrific as usual! Our server was very kind and attentive, but lacked the polished skills we have grown to know. There was a "manager" that was less than professional and he was distracting throughout our dinner by being very rude to the wait staff and causing interuptions frequently through our dinner.He seemed very much out of his element and unprofessional. Not sure exactly who he was, but it was disheartenting to see the way he treated the wait staff! In addition, I thought it was robbery to charge $9.00 for a mixed drink with dinner! A shot of liquor in soda is nothing special and felt very ripped off! I expect to pay $30 for a dinner because of it's quality, but never expected to be taken advantage of like this over a drink! It's a shame that after so many years of telling everyone what a great place this is that it seems to have lost it's luster.

      A fine dining restaurant, placed in a Victorian house, located in Historic Middletown, PA Friday night is BYOB night. Bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy with dinner. No corkage fee. Full menu is available along with our regular wine list and bar. Patio is now open Our beautiful patio is now open for lunch and dinner. Alfreds Herb Garden is now open also. On your next visit, please take the time to walk around in our herb garden to view beautiful flowers and fresh herbs.
