OIde Towne Apartments

After reading the previous review I felt a bit obligated to write one. I currently live there and yes I will say it is far from the best place I have ever lived. We have had our share of problems with maintenance type things, but they are fairly quick to fix them if they are critical issues. I would say a screen door doesnt rate up where plumbing and the such would.You are also getting for what you pay for. I pay $625 for a 1000 sq ft 2 bed 2 bath apartment, which you will not find anywhere else in Middletown. So you take the good with the bad.The part that annoys me the most is the loud neighbors. Because of the low rent, there are lots of kids and college students.

When we moved in we were promised 1 month free rent. We were told not to pay them again until two months. six days after the first of our "free month" we were told we would be evicted if we didn't pay. The screen door layed on the ground the entire time we lived there. the dish washer spits up water whenever its on, the toilet chain made of plastic broke and we had to wait a month to get it fixed. we had to flush using a spoon. The windows whislted whenever there was even a little wind and there is always "traffic" coming in and out. Then they jacked up the price of the 1 bed room, which I lived in, from 488 to over 600 a month!!! with all of the problems I had, I didn't want to spend any more time living there. I let them keep my deposit and I just left at the end of my lease! Do not go through this company. The apartments around worth 400 let alone 600 a month. And theres hardly room for a bed in the bed room. What a jip~!
