When a physician or for that matter, a nurse practitioner attempts to psychoanalyze a patient by advising him to leave his wife, divorce her , throw her out of the home and leave her to rummage for herself - I draw the line ! It is totally unprofessional as well as unethical. Indeed there are situations in the home but they are none of this person's business. I needed help for my diabetic condition. Regulating my meds and helping with my health. I don't need someone poking into my home life with questions and suggestions that have nothing to do with my diabetes. I love my wife and I stand by her trying to help her with her illness. I've been with her almost 45 years. Am I supposed to end all that with advise from a person who has no business with my home life. She has created an extremely stressful situation for me. She is neither a psychologist or psychiatrist and should just keep to her task of endocrinology. I have absolutely no confidence or trust in this person and don't recommend her to future patients seeking her help in endocrinology.
