Please note that you will not be respected in this school. It is run by a family and they do not communicate to parents at all. You can send 100+ emails and/or call them, they will either promise you something that will never happen, will lie to you in the face or will not respond at all and ignore you. Materials you are required to bring will never be used and will not be returned. The portfolio they promise, will never be made. Dirty place, the teachers come and go, and some cannot even speak English. Children come home with dirty clothes, diapers and the diapers get mixed up all the time. If they make a mistake in the expenses, good luck getting your money back! Look around and do not waste a dime on this school.

I find many of the reviews below unfair. My daughter has been attending since she was 1 (now 3) and we're very happy. She is an only child and our miracle baby, so we were verrry picky about who we would trust with her care. I'll admit, their administration may not be optimal, but they do a great job with the children (hence the 5 stars). They're constantly improving the classrooms and play areas, and their curricula unlike any other comparable school out there. To top it off, parents receive a "daily experience" report which include a narrative of what's happened during day along with pictures, and children's quotes. Definitely worth the tuition in my book.

The teachers and administrators are very loving! But, that cannot make up for the lack of follow through and constant changing of teachers without notification. My son is very shy and I had spent months working with his teacher to help him feel comfortable. We return from Christmas break and she is gone – He also loved the assistant teacher and she was replaced without notice as well. When the new teacher(s) started they also stopped writing in their composition books – My Son has not traced a letter in six months. I believe they are a little too relaxed. Also my children are constantly sick – I do not believe it is as clean as it needs to be. My son has been going for almost 9 months and still cries when I tell him we have school. I feel that is a money driven effort.

I love La Scuola! My daughter is so happy there and learning amazing things for a 20 month old! She counts in English and Spanish!! Her vocabulary also increased tremendously after we enrolled her. Her class does cooking experiences every Friday. Can you imagine, 1 year olds cooking??? It is amazing to see such small children doing such BIG things! Her teachers are incredible and we could not be any happier with the progress she has shown both academically and socially. I love that they give her a lot of one on one time and that her unique interests are implemented within the projects they do in class. I receive an email daily from her teacher which is such a blessing because I feel like I was right there with her the entire day. The school has a thriving academic program as well as an incredible environmental program. You have to go see it for yourself! My daughter loves eating tomatoes from their vegetable and fruit garden and has already been exposed to many environmental concepts that we truly value. I am glad she is growing up in such a wonderful place!

To start, management is horrible and then if you need to speak to the owners ( the director), it eve worse, she's super RUDE !

Do not return calls or reply email, do not clean the class rooms, and lets not mention the roaches u can find on the back stairs. the teachers are on facebook ALL day and are careless of everything.

They charge $700.00 per month and cant even provide the paper the kids need to use. THIS PLACE ITS A JOKE !

Administration is a mess; the left doesn't know what the right is doing. The lack of communication is awfully frustrating. And the lack of consistency is equally as frustrating. Get it together people!

My child has attended La Scuola since it opened 3 years ago. The care that she has received by loving, dedicated teachers is unparalleled. When you choose a school for your child, the teachers are the most important factor because they will be the ones who are shaping your child. Perhaps the previous review that stated that all the kids do is "draw all day" should become a little more educated in early childhood development or perhaps take some time to find out what it is the children really do all day. If you are looking for a school that the kids do worksheets all day, this is not the school for you. The children are actively engaged and involved in studying things that are of interest to each class. The curriculum is driven by the interests of the children. In my child's 3 years of attendance, I have never once heard any teacher raise their voice at the children or witness teacher:child ratios that were large or unsafe. When I drop my child off in the morning, I know that she will be well cared for by a loving staff of qualified teachers. What really drew me to this school was that it was like no place else that I visited. As a parent you need to do your research and understand the needs of young children so that you can make an educated and informed decision that will enhance your child's overall development.

I thought it was only me!!! I did not know someone else feels the same way... parents beware!

not good business practices, especially when its about your children!

Management is horrible and then if you need to speak to the owners, it eve worse! They don't even say goodmorning! They are as rude as they come. They have a baby that does not even goes to the baby class! They have him in a seperate room with one of the teacher caring for him alone! What kind of operation are they running that they don't even trust their program????? and good luck if you want your child to learn, they will however master the art of drawing because that all they do all day!!!
