Dr. Umlas graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training at Harvard Medical School. Following the completion of his Orthopaedic Surgery training, Dr. Umlas completed a formal fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction at Harvard Medical School and Arthritis Surgery and Joint Reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City with the esteemed surgeon, Dr. Chitranjan Ranawat.

After evaluation by Dr. Umlas x-rays may be obtained in our office or diagnostic tests may be ordered. Referral to physical therapy or a decision that surgical treatment is necessary may be made.
