Region 9 School of Applied Technology is a learning community that provides a technical curriculum to prepare individuals with occupational, academic and social skills. It offers various programs in building construction, nursing, computer technology, cooperative education, forestry and wood harvesting, metal trades and commercial driving license. The community provides courses for students in grades 9 through 12. Its diversified occupation program is a two-year course that focuses on the food service, janitorial, horticulture, carpentry, engine repair, sheet metal and retail industries. The community s cooperative education program provides paid on-the-job training in various industries, such as hospitality and lodging. Region 9 School of Applied Technology is located in the Mexico, Maine.
