Provided by YP.comThis is one of the worst "hole in the wall dumps" that I have eaten at. The owner is very rude and unprofessional. She reeked of cigarettes and here was so unprofessionally dressed, it looked like she hadn't washed her cloths in months. The food was overcooked and tasted like it was microwaved leftovers. I will never go there again and recommend that you save $20 and find a dumpster!!

Best Gumbo in town! I love the pasta as well. You have got to try this restaurant. It is family owned and the food is great. Best happy hour in town as well. Highly recommended.

Provided by YP.comEast meets southwest Louisiana and it was a trainwreck!!! I read another review on a website that gave this restaurant a glowing recommendation. Nothing could be further off than that. I came in because I'm from southwest Louisiana and love good spicy crawfish. What I got was a BIG disappointment. I ordered two pounds of this and when it came out I noticed that instead of being big (like the other review said) they were about the size of my pinky. Then the second disappointment: I ordered them EXTRA SPICY and they tasted like they had been boiled in day old bathwater. Oh and the ownership is Vietnamese (NOT that I have a problem with Vietnamese...I just don't expect them to know how to cook Cajun and my concerns were validated by the poor excuse for Cajun food that they served!). I love Thai food and I love Vietnamese food...the fact remains that I came to eat Cajun and got slop instead. I complained that the crawfish weren't spicy at all and the waiter just shrugged his shoulders. $45.00 later my wife and I left and went to another restaurant to eat because the food we ate there wasn't enough to make up for an appetizer at a REAL restaurant. I was totally put off by this restaurant and will NOT fall for fake posts by obvious POSERS who know nothing about the restaurant or the food they serve. Don't make the mistake I made. I am totally ticked that I wasted my time, my Saturday night, and my money on this poor excuse for a restaurant.

Provided by YP.comWent to the Cajun Corner Restaurant last Saturday. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED!
The food was ok, the etouffe was WAY too spicy, though, and, as the other person said, the shrimp was good, but tasted like boiled with the sauce poured over it.
The worst part of this place is the ATMOSPHERE! RAP music? In a CAJUN restaurant? I don't appreciate having to listen to the "F" word over and over while eating. The TVs HAVE to GO, as does the video machine!
NO cajun atmosphere at all!
Our waiter was dressed in a teeshirt and baggy, low riding jeans with a HOLE in them!
They need to get some N'Awlins music in there, and, as I said, lose the TVs! Maybe get somebody to play sax outside to draw people in.
The food, again, was ok, but without atmosphere, this place isn't gonna make it!

Provided by YP.comWe are from Louisiana and have been looking for a real Cajun restaurant. Most of the dishes are very good to eat. They do lack the techniques and spices to call themselves a Cajun restaurant. I liked the food but was disappointed in the way it was cooked.
For example, the boiled crawfish tasted like it was all boiled in plain water and a sauce was poured over it. The corn on the cob and potatoes had to be ordered separate and were defiantly boiled in plain water. I would not recommend if you are looking for real Cajun food. If you’re looking for good seafood it will do.
