      Adath Israel is a diverse congregation of Jews in the western suburbs of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. It conducts a variety of worship services. The congregation has a membership of more than 550 families. Adath Israel operates a ritual committee that reviews the congregation's spiritual needs and religious programs and services. The congregation includes a sanctuary and an educational building. It maintains HAZAK, which is a social and religious group that serves the needs of members above the age of 55. The congregation administers music, choir and theater programs. It operates a gift shop that sells a range of kosher wines and candies. In addition, Adath Israel provides its ballroom, chapel and auditorium on rent for a variety of private events.
