Affinity Custom Molding, founded in 1994, offers customized injection molding services. Its capabilities include computerized numerical control milling, grinding, turning, welding and engraving. The company manufactures both prototype and production molds, such as unthreading, stripper, side action, swing core and hot sprue molds and uses standard and custom-built bases. It also utilizes stainless steel, tool steel and high-end aluminum varieties in mold making. Affinity has a more than 28,000-square-foot facility that includes an in-house design, engineering department and injection mold shop and has a 16-press injection molding machine. It provides its services to health care, plumbing, automotive and furniture industries. Affinity Custom Molding is located in Mendon, Mich.
