Founded in Southern California in 1966, The Conrad Company is a supplier and manufacturer of aircraft equipment parts. Based in Memphis, Tenn., the firm specializes in the precision sewing needs of the military aircraft parts industry. It provides precision trimming, drilling, and final assembly of parts formed in plastics processing or in composites. Additionally, The Conrad Company vacuforms both polycarbonates and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene plastics. Working with epoxy, phenolic, polyester and other resins and fabrics, such as Kevlar and carbon fiber, the firm manufactures a wide variety of specialty parts, including floor panels for the B-2 stealth bomber.
