      Dr. Hynes is fabulous. He fixed my spine. Cervical and lumbar area in 08. I have since run two marathons and several 5k's, I am a 3 star spin instructor and quite strong for my age of 64. I had bone morphed protein and I still have some arthritis aches and pains but I am strong and on no meds except an ibuprophen on occasion. The PA's are good and also Dr, Datta.

      Dr Hynes, Damien Valez have done a total of 6 surgeries on my back, neck, and left knee due to auto accidents (not my fault) and I am still up walking! Excellent, Caring Surgeons! They actually take the time to speak to you in english not doctorese!

      General Info
      Brevard Orthopaedic Clinic was founded in 1981 by Dr. Glenn Bryan. The focus of the general orthopaedic clinic was shifted to specializing in treatment of the neck and spine with the addition of Dr. Richard A. Hynes in 1992. Over the years, multiple physicians and midlevel practitioners joined the practice and in 2002, the name of the practice was changed to Brevard Orthopaedic Spine and Pain Clinic doing business as The B.A.C.K. Center. The acronym for the name stands for "Back Authority for Contemporary Knowledge."The B.A.C.K. Center provides medical services in three locations throughout Brevard, including our Crane Creek Campus in Melbourne which opened in summer 2009. Its completion consolidated our old 3 locations into one full service Spine Center of Excellence and two satellite locations. In addition, other medical services provided at the building include diagnostic testing and an ambulatory surgery center. As the B.A.C.K. Center is committed to the advancement of science in the care and treatment of the spine, in addition to medical services provided, a 6, 392 square foot auditorium is included for educational programs for the public and staff, as well as a venue for training visiting residents and physicians. The theater will seat 264 and will also be available for social functions.Exciting News! Osler Medical and The B.A.C.K. Center have integrated!
