Absolutely the worst pediatric office. The staff is very rude and inefficient. The older women that schedule the appointments are extremely unhelpful. The nurses are rough and uncaring. The doctors are ok, at best.

I would absolutely NOT recommend this Pediatric office! I took my son in to get a refill on his asthma medication and they charged me $250! My other son just needed a referral to have his neck looked at and they charged me $165! They didn't even get to see a doctor! And they completely forgot about the referral on top of it!

I called the office bc I thought they just put the charges in wrong...nope. They said the charges were correct, and refused to give me a reasonable explanation as for such high charges. They said there was nothing they could do to change it and that all I could do is write a letter of complaint.

They said this office does not have a set appointment fee and they can't tell you how much the appointment is going to be until AFTER the kids are seen. What this office did was sneaky and I would never recommend them.

Peds in Brevard is a meat market for kids. They have few doctors, and will pass of a nurse as a PA to see your child. The waiting times are very long, and if your kid isn't sick when visiting, they will be after playing with the sick kids. They also refused to give me my medical records, and only after filing complaints did they comply. Choose any other doctor's office and you will surely do better.

Love dr leiba

I don't understand why everyone on here is complaining. I have always had the best experiences taking my two children to the melbourne office.

Misplace Sensitive Information

After moving from Ohio and changing health insurance, I decided to stop by at Pediatrics at Brevard Rockledge's office. I fill in the release of medical records of my children and after handing it to one of the front desk's staff, I left. I called a month after to verify that they received the records, they didn't receive them. I waited another month, again I called and they haven't received anything. So I call the medical record department of our former clinic in Ohio, they never received the ROI docs. I then call PAB and they tell me they don't have any consents on file and that I have to fill them again. So they have misplaced sensitive documents with my children social security numbers, DOB, address etc. How on earth can they expect me to drop by again and trust them with this information. Who knows what happen to the ones I personally filled and who have had access to my children's info. I am very upset with them. This is not professional and it is very serious. This is a violation to HIPAA and I am considering my legal options.

Dr Ulrich is AWESOME

I left a NIGHTMARE of a pediatricians office before going to see Dr Ulrich. I haven't had any problems with the MA's or the front desk. The doctor takes her time and does her best to get down to the root of a problem. Its expected to wait awhile with such a huge practice so if its over an hour I get uneasy but I haven't waited more than 30min. I HIGHLY recommend her over anyone else in Melbourne!!!

While I agree that most of the women at the front desk are a nightmare to deal with both in person and on the phone, because 4 out of 5 of them just insist on being unnecessarily rude, I still must rate Pediatrics of Brevard 4 out of 5 stars, because Dr. Ulrich and her nurses are terrific. We trust them completely with the health of our baby. I would give them 5 stars if they could place some people at the front desk who didn't hate their jobs.

With absolutely NO advance warning, I just received a certified letter informing me that due to "lack of immunizations for your children and noncompliance with well visits/physicals" my three very young children would no longer be able to be seen as patients of Pediatrics In Brevard. They have had all of the above except for one certain vaccine due to the fact that they have virtually no risk of exposure, it is controversial, and unnecessary as they are not even in school! Additionally, unless the children have an urgent need to see the Dr., we are simply too busy to sit around over there for 45 minutes to 1 hour just to see Dr. P.T. for 5 minutes so he can bill my insurance for multiple well child visits. I do not recommend this practice to anyone.

WOW!!! We are expecting our first grandchild and I was helping my daughter to find a doctor for the baby and WOW I am just so shocked at what I have read. I would never go here. Being a new mom is hard enough so having the right doctor and staff is important. Im glad we didn't even bother with interviewing this place. You all should forward or give this review to the doctors themselves 9 times out 10 they have no idea whats going on in the office. Thanks for the heads up :)

I have always like this place but lately I cant even get in to see the doctor. My son has been sick and they dont even test him just put him on medication and hope it goes away. WELL IT DOSENT he has been sick for weeks. I called today because ONCE again he is sick they told me they were un-able to see him because his doctor was not here. They dont have another doctor that can see him only the nurse. I will be leaving this place for they are not much help at all.

I absolutely love my daughter's pediatrician, but overall, the facility itself is not as friendly as other facilities I've been to. The front window clerks are NOT very friendly. I always like to feel out how friendly any facility is, especially a professional facility, such as a doctor's office or clinic. However, during the last several visits, upon signing in, the front staff never looks at their clients, nor do they give a "hi" or "hello." Have they heard of greeting people before? Nope. They only say hello when your co-payment is due. In addition, upon filling out my updated forms, I handed my clipboard to the woman sitting front and center, AT the window, and she completely ignored me. What's she getting paid for again? Sitting pretty? She's not pretty. So her clerk colleague reaches over, takes the clipboard from me, as they both chuckeled. Gotta love these ladies. They've got this great sense of humor, just not on this planet.

The assistants/nurses are great, except for those who sit around the halls complaining about crying babies. One caucasian "professional" makes the comment, "Cover your ears! There she goes crying!!!" as my 1 year old daughter, who knows she'll be receiving her wellness shots, is taken to the scale in the halls. Well, DUH, lady, that's what babies do, if you haven't already noticed, considering that you work in a healthcare facility for a PEDIATRICIAN. Everybody else is "courteous" with smiles on their faces, because they know how to work with babies and children.

Lastly, I would love to give 5 stars to SANDI at the check out window. She is wonderful, always has a smile on her face, and is very courteous. She is great and I appreciate her professionalism. Thank you for doing her job, Sandi! Doing your job RIGHT! :D

One last thing. As my 1 year old daughter is crying, this ugly lady with her three not-so-beautiful children walk by, giving me this look: "Why is your daughter crying?!" with ugly disgusted faces. You've been there, lady, with your three little terrors, so as a mom, you should be understanding. Get a clue, use your brain, and think back 3 years ago when your children received your shots. I politely smile at her, in addition to the other rude people at the facility. Sometimes I just wonder how these people are hired to work in a baby/children focused facility.

Honestly I have never had a pr...

Honestly I have never had a problem with ANYONE in the Melbourne office. Been going here since 2008. We saw (we are now moving) Ann Reinhart. She was amazing. She listened to everything I said and made me feel like I was in control of my kids medical issues (which there are plenty, all three some type of special need.) Only once did I wait long, it was bad, but they squeezed me in so I can't complain that much. Office is clean, staff friendly. I would have given a 5 out of 5, except that even though there is a sick side, well side, and infant room, the toy chalk board is in the sick side and my kids are too small to understand that when they aren't sick. So more toys please! I would recommend to anyone who asked to go here. We saw Dr. Stockett as well who was very easy to talk to. Thank Ped's in Brevard, we will miss you! Oh, and we went from private insurance to medipass with no problems.

I've been going here for 12+ years, we went in for a morning sick visit and our insurance had changed. They refused treatment and would not take CASH. I since filed a complaint with the BBB and they retaliated and sent me a certified letter dropping my kids from their practice. The doctors are great, but the business is corrupt! Don't expect loyalty from these people.
