Besides the liveliest shrimp ever, the store maintains a laid back atmo! Two things I know for sure....Honest john(ets) they are! Any anglin' question I have is always accurate, like..."What's hookin", the staff tells me whats gonna' be for dinner! Times, schedules, tides, n' baits are bullet proof. And for those whom trade there "the regs" honey holes are not given out . Good prices, LIVE bait, quality prods, comfort, and honest knowledge of the fishin' of the day...My hat's off to ya' folks. Black Dog is dope!

Black Dog bait and Tackle of Melbourne Beach has to be one of the best little baits shops in the world. Seriously don't let it's size fool you they have just about everything you could want to firsh the surf or the lagoon plus everything you need to gear up for the inlet. They are open everyday and they stay open the latest of any shop uin Brevard county.

They staff and owners are super cool whether you are a beginner or old pro they will help you out any way they can....it is like the bait shop we all grew up with or wishing existed near you. All that and they will order anything you want that they don't hand their prices are fair for the best products. If you are worrried about not having the bait you need for your next trip call ahead they will be sure you get what you need and will even stay open until you get there.
